seatbelt extenders?
 

Hi Everyone,
Here's the deal... I have a baby seat in the back of my 86 300e. It's secure right in the middle. Well, this seat has such a huge base that it covers both buckle connectors for the side seats. My wife likes to ride back there with our daughter, but she can't get her seatbelt on, so often rides without. She's convinced that someone out there manufactures "seatbelt Extenders" that are used by people with large builds. I have never heard of such a thing, but have any of you? If such a thing does exist, where can I get one?

Your best bet is to try the dealer since MB buckles aren't like any other.

There was a similar thread sometime back and someone posted that MB only offers/recommends longer belts, not extensions.

What we did is put the car seat on one side and mama on the other side. Practice for upgrading to a 500E that doesn't have a middle sitting position :)
