Would worn out rear diffs cause a car to vibrate and cause a clicking sound when the auto trans shifts?

Can we use Auto trans fluid for the rear diffs and how often should we change the diff fluid?

Thaks,
Kevin

rear differentials use thick sae 90 oil.
transmission oil is too thin and is only used for the transmission shift box.
i put synthetic oil sae 90 100.000 km ago and still going strong

If your question is pertaining to your 113-280sl, check both the pinion lock nut at the diff. yoke for loosness and the main swing axle carrier mount.
