Mechanical Fuel Injectors?

Greetings, I have a 77 450 SL with the "mechanical" fuel injection. Car now has 105,000 miles on it and I was wondering about cleaning the injectors on this set up? Looks very simple and no internal parts...Can I take them apart and clean or should I just replace them?
Thanks,
Mike

I think the replacement parts are brass. Also, the seals and seats for the injectors should be replaced while you're in there. I'd vote to replace them although I have not done that yet.
