HELP! Which sparkplug wires to buy...

and quick! I was stupid and put in those magnecor's instead of OME wires. I loved those Magnecors on my wife's Land Rover, the've held up very good and I've been impressed. But NOT with the Mercedes. They've constantly come apart while changing plugs, and last night the number three cyl wire failed and is toast! I've got a couple of local options:

1. After market with original design and materials $200
2. After market with new design $39
3. Bosch $99
4. NASCAR $69

what other options are there? Anyone have any experience with the above? Should I just get the OME? Thanks in advance for responces.

This guy puts together a great tune-up kit at a good price:

Go with original wires. They are more expensive for a reason. They are better. They are solid copper, whereas the aftermarket wires are a silicon / copper blend.

The EBAY offering from Randy Steele is quite legit. His parts are all OEM - the plug connectors are Beru - doesn't get any better. He's been around for a long time and I've always been pleased with his quality and service.

They use Beru connectors exclusively. You can order it directly or through http://www.nopionline.com
Not many alternatives out there that match OEM but this has worked for me.

Actually, one of the nice things about Randy Steele's kits are that he does all of the little things to make it easier. The wires are all labeled, where most people will send you the wires and you have to figure them out. He also includes all of the wire guides and clips, not as big of a deal for the M103, but a nice touch nonetheless. For the M103, he'll includes your choice of either the suppressor housing or cover, since one of them is usually broken. He also throws in a little bit of di-electric grease.

I was very happy with his kit for my M103, I wish I'd bought from him for my 560.

And he uses only OEM parts. Beru connectors with solid wire cores, Bosch plugs/cap/rotor.
