I was reading a magazine of European cars and found that there is another roadster known as SL280. Where can I find some reading and does anyone knows where I can locate a pic of this vehicle? In addition, it appears that SL320 is still in production and sold in Europe, is that true?

Yes, SL320 is still sold in every where else other than NA. SL280 is the little brother of SL320 with C280 V6. More info can be found on MB's world site.

There really aren't many competitors here with SL-series, and even those that match the price of SL have way more HP under the hood than SL320, therefore, it's logical that MB stop import SL320 to NA.

P.S. Can you believe that German S-Class can be ordered with cloth interior instead of leather?? Heheh, maybe we here in NA are little spoiled huh.... :)

I have a UK spec SL280. Physically it's the same as the SL320 and SL500 but obviously slower.
Here in the UK, chronic city congestion combined with strict enforcement of speed limits means performance is becoming less of an issue when buying a car. The £8,000 ($12,000+) saving over the SL320 seems worth taking. See www.mercedes-benz.co.uk for more details.
