?? R/R muffler rubber hangers ??
How does one maneuver on/off the rubber muffler hangers?
I'm reluctant to attack mine in fear that brute forcing with a wrong tool will tear or injure the rubber hangers. Substantial force is needed to remove and replace them. ??Special tool?? ??Shape??

I just use a floor jack with a block of wood between it and the muffler. Jack it up enough to allow clearance to remove/replace the rubber. Something to keep in mind is that you can purchase those rubber "donuts" from places like AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts pretty cheap. May not be an exact fit but they will fit fine for this type application.

Thanks
Guess my efforts were directed at the wrong thing.
OK, I will try to lift the muffler removing tension, rather than stretching the donut. Sounds simple now. Thanks.
