E55 Time port/Startac
 

Anyone know if a regular Time Port can be programmed to work w/my E55? I already had the phone, and don't want to spend $600 for something I already have! Thanks!

It won't really work right. The address book in the phone MAY download. The hands-free may or may not work. If you want voice activation, I am told this won't work. The battery will stay charged. In general, you're better off with the MB phone. I have been told that a Timeport which was bought from another car manufacturer will also work in the MB, the programming used in MB will be the same programming as say a BMW or a Jag for example, but not a "generic" off the shelf Timeport.
