Steering damper...Bilstein or Boge?
I know there has been much discussion about shocks, but not too much about steering dampers. An OEM Boge unit costs a little over 20 bucks, while a Bilstein costs 80!! 60 bucks is a pretty good chunk, esp. for a part that small. Is the Bilstein worth the extra 60 bucks, or is the Boge just as good?

Dealer list price is $46.50 with places like Fastlane or Rusty Cullens selling for $25-30. No idea of brand, but I would not pay $80 for a steering damper.

Well I know for sure that Boge is an MB OEM supplier. Hmm...I guess my best bet would be the $23 Boge from FastLane. I doubt I could tell the difference between it and the Bilstein, except longevity maybe, and I can buy the Boge more than 3 times over for the price of the Biltein.

Both Boge Sachs & Bilstein are OEM suppliers for MB.
