Sunroof Clutch Adjustment

I did a search but I can't find what I am looking for. So how do I know when I have the clutch too tight, because I am worried about burning up the motor. So far when I have tried to adjust clutch, it will slip slightly sometimes, but the nut feels tight when I check it. I also have made sure that the track is greased with white lithium grease for now, and Slide Paste later when I can get to a dealer.

Hi,

If it's anything like my 300E, You are going to need to use a torque wrench and another person to help you.

MB gives a specific torque spec for my sunroof motor.

Do you have the service manual?

I don't have a service manual at this time. I am sure someone else would know the tourque spec. for my car.
