W140 - no rear heat!
No rear heat.....front works fine. Is there a hot water valve or duct damper thats not working? Any help appreciated.

I assume you don't have the actual "rear climate control", just the duct with the open/close lever. The cable from the lever to the shut off flap can come disconnected. You can access the cable connector under the false floor in the bottom of the center console storage area.

ummmmm
If you dont have the "individual" rear climate controls (which I assume you dont) then your are not supposed to have rear heat. The rear ducts only provide fresh, cool air to that part of the cabin. It's in your owners manual!

I believe rear heat comes from under the front seats.

The 140 chassis does provide heat to the rear, even if it doesn't have the rear climate control option. The temp is dependent on the temp settings at the front.

I swear there was something about it not providing heated air in my owners manual. Ill check through it tommorrow. I have the rear climate control and i found it odd that people without it would not have heat in the rear?

Yes, if you could check your manual, that would be great. I am really positive that even without rear climate control, you'll have heat (or AC) in the rear, but it is simply provided through a duct from the front case. With the "real" rear climate control, there is left/right individual selection and a small evaporator in the rear of the center console, much more elaborate than the regular system in the 140.
