How much for a new key?

Does anybody know how much it would cost to get a new key for a 1988 190e? Also, is a dealership the best place to go to get one?

The dealership would be the best place, yes. I have a '93 190e and paid about $25 for the key.

Take care-
Michael.

Yup, dealership for $25. Bring registration papers with VIN, they have to mail away for the key to be cut and it may take a week. Mine came from MB in Maryland. Be prepared to have to break in the key. The freshly cut key sticks now and then, probably from the worn lock internals.
