Angry M110 Engine Oil leak

I have a 1981 280TE (euro) that has developed an oil leak in the front of the engine. The leak appears to be higher up the engine as the alternator and the whole right side of the engine bay are coated in oil. Does anyone have any ideas as to where to look to find this leak. I am a weekend DIYer and any help would be greatly appreciated

I would check out:

O-ring on timing chain tensioner cover? Believe you need a 19mm hex key to unscrew it.

Head gasket? But have never heard of a M110 leaking here.

Cam box - head gasket?

Cam box top cover gasket?

Where is the Timing chain Tensioner cover located?
Do you know how difficult it is to replace the Cam Box Gasket? I appreciate the hints and I will check them out this weekend. Thank You

The tensioner is on the very front of the cylinder head, well-hidden by the AC compressor and its bracket. In fact, there is a hole in the bracket for access. You will need to remove the compressor. There is a plug that covers the actual tensioner which requires a 17mm hex key to remove. There is an o-ring that seals the plug to the head, and my bet is that is what is leaking.

The cam box is a pain because you need to remove the cam sprockets, rocker arms, guide rail, and the tensioner to get it off the head. And it's heavy! I can't think of any reason why it would leak unless the bolts holding it to the head are not tight.

I will take a look this weekend but the location does sound right. I hope when Pep-Boys put on the 134 compressor they used the same bracket if not it will just mean a little more work for me.
Thanks again.
