How to tell if wiring harness has been replaced?
 
Checked the archives but no info on how to determine if the harness has been replaced on my 95 E320TE. Just bought the car about 2 months ago with 87K on it and AAARRRRGGGG!!!!!, no service records of any kind. I know,,, I know,,, but the price was TOO good to pass up. Any thoughts ?

At the end of the harness near the big square connector there is a white tag which will tell you the year of manufacture. The original harness' date will be the same year as your car's date of manufacture (more or less)...
