Hello Listers,
The central locking system (the one which pulls the door locks up and down) on my car is not functioning, hence I went and bought a used vacuum pump from a guy who assured it was the appropriate replacement for my 1992 600 SEL.
When I lifted the bottom cushion on the rear seat, the pump underneath looked totally different!!
Can someone post or email me an actual picture of the actual replacement pump which I should have gotten!!

Can you identify for me which is which and where can I find inside the car the pump depicted in picture "O400061535BOS.JPG" !? It is the one I bought and what is it for?
I found the pump depicted in image "O400058420BOS.JPG" under the right side of the rear seat bench . It is getting power (when the car is running) through two wires one black+ some light color and the second is gray+red (I think) but it does not show one single sign of life (No buzzing, no humming and not even a faint click).
