Hello,

Where is the door lock vacuum pump for a '86 560SEL. I am seeing posts here noting next to the spare tire as well as under the rear seat.

The '86, you will find the vacuum pump in the spare tire well. It will be under the triangular shaped shroud at the right rear corner of the well.

Mike, I sent you a private message or direct email about an 86 300D in Temecula.

And closer to the topic, how do you remove the rear seat if it's motorized? I know how to do it in the SD and SE that don't have a motorized rear seat.

Sixto,

There are two small bolts (10mm) along the lower front edge of the seat. They hold the seat cushion to the tray or rails. Once removed the seat cushion lifts off exposing the rails, motor and drive cables to the gearing.
