ml 555 drivers side mirror
 

my car was vandalized. i purschased a replacement drivers side mirror in effect.
can any one guide me thru the removal and installation of this mirror. i see the plastic inside the car, i is this where the screw that holds the mirror is hiding. are the wires also in this location..

David, the mirror is very easy to replace. Just remove the inner trim by prying with a small screwdriver & the screws that hold the mirror on are right there.

Actually there is a 3rd screw just forward of the weatherstrip. Only 2 of them are under the indide "triangle" piece of trim. The electrical connector is also under the interior trim.
