Question S320 (1994) Oil Filter Location??

I just bought a 94 S320 and want to change the oil but after looking for 1/2 hour I can't find the filter canister. Can you give me a clue to it's location?

Thanks,

Larry

if it's the same as the 8 cylinders

take a look on the right side of the wheel well.mine is situated under the manifold.it is in a steel canister.you'll need to take off the cap, screw and then pull the filter out.getting the cap off can be trying but stick with it -it;ll come.i think there might be a diy dedicated to this.check the tabs at the top of the page

It has a black cap and it is located near the rear of the engine, You should find it aft of the intake manifold. The filter is a cartridge style. Make sure you don't pinch the hoses near the oil filter.

Thanks to Everyone. I found it !!

I located the filter aft of the intake manifold on the drivers side. Had to lay all over the engine to see it though.
