Anybody work for Mercedes??? Need info

Is there anyone on here that works for Mercedes? I need information on a 2002 Mercedes S600. I need either the color of the VSS wire (vehicle speed sense) or information on a CAN-BUS adaptor to isolate the VSS signal from the bus. Thanks you for any information. Also, does anyone know where I can locate the electrical troubleshooting/ electrical diagrams for this vehicle?

The VSS speed sensors are also the traction system sensors, WHICH one, as there are four. The traction system brodcasts the VSS info ON the can system.
Are you trying to find the info to the inst cluster?
The cluster must forward that info, or the rest of the systems will go into a fixed mode.

Ideally I'm looking for the wire at the factory navigation at the dash. I'm installing an aftermarket navigation unit along with an extensive audio system. Hopefully the VSS is separated at the nav unit and isn't part of a bus. I can't go to the sensors at the wheels, as the voltage is too low to trigger the system. Thanks for any help you may have, otherwise I'll have to spring for the electrical service manual. Props to you working on these wonderful cars, they must present some interesting troubleshooting problems sometimes!!!

The OE NAV system is part of COMMAND & yes the inputs are on the interior CAN bus! can fax wiring info but doubt if that will help.

Is it that there isn't a separate vss input to the navitgation? Wiring would be awesome if it isn't too much trouble. 262-542-5574. Thanks again.
