At the station I buy fuel-
unleaded- $1.58
mid-grade- $1.68
premium- $1.78

Here in northeastern Tennessee USA, the unleaded ranges from about $1.56 to 1.60. The last time I put gas in my 92 Buick, which is the last car of mine I filled up this past week, it was $1.56 per gallon and took $20.00 to fill it up. It was not completely empty. The other day when I filled up my moms 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva SL 4dr, it was $1.58 per gallon. I think premium unleaded was $1.78 per gallon.

Here in Sunny Miami, Diesel is around $1.85 per gallon at some stations(Amoco), while 1 mile down the road, Shell is selling diesel for $2.05 per gallon. Go figure.

Unleaded premium has been spotted at $2.01 per gallon.

Drive the speed limit and conserve.

In Hong Kong, USD$1.44 (HKD11.2) per litre including tax for I guess 93 or 95 unleaded.

just filled up

here at the southern tip of Africa (actually, a bit further north) I just paid ZAR 239.53 for 61.10 litres - that's ZAR 3.92 per liter.

The exchange rate says that's about US$ 0.50 per litre

dunno what the latest is on the Big Mac index to put that in perspective ....

have fun !

In Denmark unleaded 95 octane is $4.67 pr. gallon.

My 300E is, (despite the fact that the stealership now has replaced nearly everything relating to the fuel-system), STILL only getting 10-11 miles pr. gallon.

I drive 112 miles a day to get to work and back again. = $52,3

I go to work 220 days a year. = $11506 -just for the gas! And this doesn't include any driving besides to work and home again..

If (when) the war in Iraq begins, the gas prices will sky-rocket and practically make it very bad business for me to go to work at all..

Never criticize someone until you've walked a mile in his shoes. That way, when you do, you're a mile away -and you have his shoes!

Almost $1 a Litre

Here on Vancouver Island it costs 98.9 cent a litre for Premium, and thats before the new tax increase on March first. I bet they will round the increase up too, so that will make it 102.9 cents a litre!.

Don't remember where I read this but it was recent. The cost of gasoline worldwide varies by only about 2 cents US per gallon on a wholesale basis. The huge difference in retail prices around the world and even within country is taxes!!!!

gas prices

Georgia USA is usually blessed. The Kuwait price has us beat, but pretty good otherwise. Just down the street, $1.379/ gal unleaded, plus 10cents higher, super 20cents higher. Low state taxes, so far!
