need help in accessing cruise control amplifier
 

I want to send my cruise control amplifier in for repair but I am having trouble removing the access panel under the dash on the drivers side. I have searched forum but no details clear enough for a novice like me. Any pics or comments as to what screws need to be removed would be greatly appreciated. Do I need to remove the knee panel too? 92 300e
