question about regular driving.
 

how high do you guys raise the RPM's during regular driving, what would be considered too high for a 560sel?

A couple of times a week I kick the '94 wagon down and accelerate up on-ramps and such up to about 5500 RPM sometimes. In the '99 TD I only go to about 4500 RPM since the car red lines at 5000. Make sure you change your oil a lot before you stress the engine.

What would be considered too high for a 560 SEL? Don't worry, the rev limiter in the fuel pump relay will make sure you don't spin the motor into oblivion. I'd use a little common sense though, before you step on it. Make sure your at operating temperature and remember that hard driving will require a bit more TLC.
