Exclamation 1991 500sl ADS problem

I have a r129 with ADS suspension that's totally shot fom a bad previous owner. The shop I took it to is trying to replace the ADS inspired springs with springs from a non ADS SL. The shocks were already modified to non-hydralic. This seems like a very bad idea. If anyone knows the consequences, please let me know. -CY

If all of the springs & shocks are replaced then the car will handle like a "normal" 500SL.

Thanks for the info. I assume the car won't handle as well. Also, do you recommend any aftermarket springs to help performance? -Cy
