124 CD Manual? Pls check something for me
I'm having trouble getting into a couple of pdf files on my manual. It is a genuine MB disc so I'm assuming it was made this way but I was wondering if someone could check their CD and see if these files appear. The page in the manual will open but it's transparent usually (once it was white but blank),the bar at the bottom of the page says that it's finished loading but there's nothing there. Here are the two files I'm having trouble with-

Wish I had it Kyle so I could help....
Sorry. |
I was able to open the first file that you had mentioned - 07.3-0121.pdf.
If you have the file name for the second one you are having problems with, I'll be able to check it out. BTW, I am using Acrobat Reader 5.0. Good luck. |
Here it is

Thanks guys for the response, You can e-mail me the file at liz.kyle@shaw.ca. We're on cable so if you zip it it should work fine. The other file I haven't been able to open is on disk 1 and it's in the Electrical troubleshooting manual, wiring diagrams.
D:\Program\ETM\ETMpdf I'm not sure if this is the right address or not though because my computer freezes as soon as it opens the file:( |
Try opening Adobe Acrobat first, then open the ETM. Or open the ETM directly with Adobe.

I am e-mailing you the file right now.

Thanks Pedro ,I received it and opened it just fine, anybody with the electrical file?

Adobe Acrobat 5.1 solved the problem with my manual. I'm not sure why MB would include a program (Abobe 3.0) that won't open the large files. Thanks for the help guys :)

I too had problems opening the larger files directly from the CD... getting blank pages. But I got around it - - can't remember exactly how, but I think it was by using My Computer, locating the files, and double clicking on them.
