HELP! glove compartment light not working
I recently replaced my head unit and now discovered that when I open my glove compartment, the light does not come on.
I have checked the bulb and it is still good. Did I disconnect the power by accidently while installing the head unit? If so, how and where can I check the power wire for this light? Thanks. |
You just blew a fuse that serves your glove compartment light, cigar lighter, trunk light , etc.
Inspect your fuses and find and repalce the blown one. If all the fuses are intact, then there was wiring that didn't get reconnected. |
You might want to check it doesn't come on only when the headlamps are also on. I can't remember if this is the case or not.

I have checked fuses, wiring, etc...
I took out the wood cover but can't remove the climate control box to get to the bulb. I can see the bulb and it is not working.
When I tried to remove the climate control box, the side with the temperature dial seemed stuck. Help! Thanks. |
Oops wrong post for reply...
I will check the wiring by removing the head unit out.
But please do read the above post and help me with that also.:)) Thanks. |
