will they fit my car?
 

I am looking at used set of 17" AMG Monoblock III wheels with relatively new KUMHO Ecsta Supra 215-45 ZR 17 on them.

The wheels have this number on them.

AMG Monoblock III 7-1/2J x 17HZ ET 42

Will these wheels and tires fit my 97 e420? I have no idea as to what these numbers to the wheels are for.

I think they will fit based on the fact that the tires are 45's and the lug bolt pattern will probably match. Make sure these wheels come with their own lug bolts. They are not interchangable. I often hesitate to do things like that (change wheel size) because they change the designed suspension reaction parameters and I always want to know that the car will behave predictably in an emergency situation.
