W210 power window problems
 

WTF?!:( I have had no problems with my car in the last 3-4 months I have had it but this week and last :(.... anyway.. part of having it :) .......

I put the driver side window down, no problem, then to go up it wouldn't go up, tried again, went up a notch, I had to keep pressing on/off the pwr window button so it would go up little by little :( . The other windows were fine.

Whats up? Any ideas? Where to I start looking?

oh, had to put a new tire today b/c of the alignment was off, and had it aligned..... that was the one of the other issues I had :D

Nothing's broken, the express up/down feature just lost its memory. Roll the window all the way up "manually" - push the button just until the window moves, but don't push through the resistance until it clicks. When the window is all the way up, push all the way down on the button and hold it about five seconds. You may have to reteach it in the down direction as well. The sunroof also can behave in the same way. Had to reset all my windows and sunroof when the battery was disconnected.

thank YOU, thank you..... Thats what it is b/c it happened after I swapped in the new battery at lunch...:D I didn't think it could be it, since the other three windows worked fine :confused: . Good, one less issue to worry about.....

you may also have the same problem on the sun roof. Follow the same procedure...

THANK you very much guys!!! That is what it was, sunroof and actually all windows!! They all work fine. Calling the dealer tommorrow or driving over to get the radio code!!

check your car books and papers. you should have a credit size card that gives raido code and radio book tells how to put in code.
