Ignition key headaches!!
 

Hello,

Oh dear....looks like I'm in a spot of bother. I borrowed my Mum's 190D while she was on holiday, and the damn thing has broken down. TYPICAL!!

Whats happened is that the ignition key will not turn the ignition barrell??? It has been used regularly, so I have no idea whats caused this.

I've sprayed it with WD40 and left it. What should I do next??

Another problem that may or may not be related is the external door locks. Basically, you can open the car from either the boot or the passenger door, but you can lock it from either of these. You can however lock the car from the drivers door, but you can't open it from there. Strange eh?

It Sounds like The Ignition Tumbler has Died...It Will need to replaced ..Also inspect the elect portion of the Ignition switch..(The End of the Tumbler !
The Door locks are another problem.. Vacuum Leak or defective door lock actuator..
