'85 190E Clicking sound, stripped hedlight adjusters

Any ideas on the intermittent clicking sounds coming from the pass. side near vent/glove box area?
I've been trying to adjust headlights and fog lights but I could spin those plastic adjusters all day-need thoughts on that as well.
While I'm at it-what are you guys (people) running for front/rear tire press.? I'm in S.E. Ct. using all season Michelins-just picked up car last week. LOVE Her!
Thanks, Mel

The CLICKING NOISE is the ACC VACUUM CONTROL VALVE . . .

HUH? Is it on it's way out? Is this normal? Does ACC stand for accesory? Major problem?
Don't mean to sound dense!
Thanks for your help!!-M

ACC = Air Conditioning, or I believe, Automatic Climate Control
