Advice? 400e leaking ATF bigtime

Walked out to my car this morning and I noticed a puddle of ATF at my feet! Looked under the car and it seemed as if maybe 1/2 quart was on the floor. Took my wife's car instead and when we got back home tonight it looks like a similar amount has left the transmission.

I just had my 60K service. Could my mechanic have not have bolted something back properly? What gives? Is it safe to drive to my mechanic (about 15 miles away) so long as I fill up before I do so?

TIA

should be fine

Look under the tranny see where its coming from. Fill it back up and while the car is running, look to see if / where its dripping from. This way, you'll get a better perspective of how bad the leak is....something may have come loose which could allow fluid really POUR out...in that case you really wouldn't want to drive her.

Did you have a coolant flush performed?

The radiator has an integrated transmission cooler , and the pipe couplings are located at the bottom of the radiator. Have they been messed with?
