Lightbulb This diff, that diff...what diff?

Hey all,

I think I posted something elsewhere about my 220se making cranky diff noises but haven't heard much.

Someone mentioned to me that a rear assembly from a 230 '66 model would fit.

Does anyone know what other rear ends/diffs may be interchangable - 280?

The diff hangs from a support rubber mount in the trunk... that is the likely part that is causing the noise..
The other would be the swing axle pivot post points.. they both have a grease fitting ..may want to check these two out first...
