W140 Rear window does not close

entering a new year witha new prob. the window is in the fully open position.. the window only moves up and down about a cent.

what could it be??? its below freezing and the window doesnt close!!!!

Oh I cant get the darn panel off.. I snapped most of it off but there is something in the middle where I cannot get to.. is there a scew or something??? does the wood panel also come off????

You need a new window reg to remove rear door panel you have to remove wood panel first I'll take it to pro.......a special tool need to remove wood panel...price for the wood panel is $$$$$

The wood panel has two legs that flip down in front of it. They are hell to get off without hurting them. I have a tool for it now. I'd take this to the dealer because you will need a regulator and pop rivets anyway.
