Based on what I have seen/read, it works pretty good on high mileage engines. :)

Well tkamiya, I commend you for you logical thinking . . . UNFORTUNATELY, YOUR and MY old school thinking holds little water with MOST of TODAYS MB OWNERS . . . They want to EAT the goose that laid the golden egg and have a dozen EXTRA LARGE left on their doorstep every morning . . . |
Thanks for the replies..so in your "golden" opinions I should use the Max Life on my Toyota 4 Runner and the MB 560sl? What about the 97 MB?
Thanks again! |

[B]My opinions are only based on what they advertise on TV... The tv ad shows that MaxLife oil helps seal the valve stem by expanding the valve guide.. I don't think it expands the valve guide(s). It is supposed to soften the valve seals, as they tend to get very hard with heat/age/mileage. I call it " Chevy Disease ". |
