1990 300 SE Electrical

I have a 1990 300 SE and when i turn the key off and bump the steering wheel on exiting. The indicator dashboard indicator lights will light up. It causes the battery to run down. At times when I stop the vehicle and turn off the key. The engin will continue to run.

Any ideas where to start will be appreciated.
