190e Boot Lid Leak???

After a particularly heavy shower, I open the boot lid and whoosh!!!! Water gushes in from the interior (middle) of the boot lid!

Any idea where the heck it's coming from?

This is a similar problem on my bro's Kidbenz (1990 190e 1.8) as well.

As I open the bonnet, the water gushes out from the holes next to the trunk lock. It seems to be collecting at the interior edge of the lid near the lock.

Anyone?
