That is the intake air temp sensor for the HFM-SFI Fuel system.
It only uses one. If you unplugged it with the engine running, you might have a stored trouble code by now. Careful, they are very fragile! |

hey thanks for replying well i did take it out coz it came out from the hose and i didnt know what to do and to get the part number i brought it inside the house and the car was running at that time is it going to cause some serious and big trouble or as soon as i put it back it will be ok

If the sensor is ok, the fault code will clear itself after 20 key cycles or so. If the sensor is faulty, the check engine lamp should come on. when it is un-plugged, the computer will just substitute
a fake value to keep the engine running ok. |

If it just fell out of its hole, put it back in there, and see if you can make it stay. If the sensor itself is actually broken (non-functioning) then get a new one.

There is a funny little gold clip that retains the sensor which usually slides down into the headlamp bucket. Look for it.
It is a spendy little guy at about $14 The sensor is different for many cars and costs from $47 to 100 depending on your car. |
