Hi:
We have a 78 300D in our shop with a leaking climate control unit. That is, the unit on the left side under the hood that all the vacuum hoses connect to. Since we are 911 specialists and do not have documentation or experience on these things, perhaps someone might be able to share their experiences on this. We have replaced the hoses as well as the electric water pump and it looks like its the housing that is cracked and leaking. 1) Is this common on these? 2) What's the most common resolution? This belongs to one of our better clients and I want to make sure that this will not strand his spousal unit somewhere,...... Thanks for any help or advice. ------------------ Steve Weiner Rennsport Systems Portland Oregon 503.244.0990 htp://www.rennsportsystems.com/~porsche/ |

I did reply to you via e-mail. The servo is at fault and is available at a cost of about $600-$800 I think.
