Question euro light kit

Does anyone know what is in the CWC kit for the conversion of euro lights that capitol west is offering? Also is it available elsewhere, here is the link: http://www.capitolwest.com/mercedes_exterior_accessories.htm#Euro%20Lights
I would like to get the kit but do not want to by the lights for $500 which they require.
thanks
m

The euro lights are a simple install. You need the lights, the bulbs, and the new connectors for the wiring.

the CWC kit should be ok, but I have no experience with their lights.

I bought the DEPO Euro's for my car, they look and work great. I got mine from Importvision.

you can try ken www.importvision.com for the DEPOS.

If you want OEM, you can try through partsshop here, or through.

euro lights

The importvision lights are the ones I am going with. But Neil from importvision asked me to check on the forums to see what the kit actually entailed. I read mike Tangas's light update too so am clear on the process. But has anyone used the kits or know where they can be purchased as the wipers are a bit of a pain.

the kit that capwest has must be something they came up with.

i guess it's a more closely guarded secret than the colonel's 11 herbs and seasonings.

seriously, it's their deal and unless you buy their BOSCH w126 euros [they have a decent price on their OEM BOSCH lights] , you can't adapt your u.s. to euro wipers.

euro lights without headlight wipers are WAY better than u.s. lights with them.

keep surfing on this and let us know if you find out their angle.

I guess I need an adapter to go from the 4-pin on the harness and the 6-pin on the lights.

Does Importvision have the adapter or anyone else?

What bulbs do I buy for these lights?

The adaptor should come with the lights. I've never heard of anyone buying the lights w/o the 6 pin adaptor.

They should be available at the dealer, too.

All you have to do is do a search on wiring euro lights. That info and a quick trip tot he dealer for a pair of 6 pin connectors and covers and you are on your way. All you have to do is disassemble your 4 pin connectors, move the wires to the 6 pin and you're set. If you want the city lights, you'll have to add a wire and install a new female socket in each 6 pin connector.

If the dealer has the connector shell, then I'm on my way.

Which bulbs go in these things?

For my Bosch OEM Euro lights I bought Narva Super High Efficiency H4's and H3 Golds from Dan Stern Lighting. The Sylvania T4W (3893) for the City Lights was available here from Advanced Auto Parts/Parts America. I also put in new side marker bulbs just for kicks.
