major project: restoring 94W202..where to find headliner?
gyz,
I'm upon a major project here. i am in the beginnings of restoring my 94 MB C280... I dont know where I could get some parts. i was thinking of changing out the rear two taillights to the 98 model style (are ther any problems with that?) I need to get a new exhaust system, any recommendations other than remus? I need to get a new headliner (the roof paneling)... it fell down and sags in my car... any sources?? I'm gonna get the HID light conversion from Bekkers. I really want to get 17" brabus monoblock IV's. anyone able to suggest sources for these items??? thanks! ~manny |
Call Phil right here at Fastlane for many of those bits.
The 98-00 smoke taillights are a bolt in. If you need a new exhaust, you could go with OE. You won't pick up any ponies with an aftermarket, but you might save a few bucks and get a better sound and look. AMG sells a really nice system. Keep us posted on your progress. I know lots of members will be interested in the Xenon HID conversion! |
kewl... i'll hit up phil with the headliner. I want OE cuz nothing else around my area would look right. The car was in a minor accident and needs a new paint job so I was thinking about doing all things at once. i already have new speakers and a head unit to go in. ETA, around 4-5 months-depending on when these things will get here on Guam. Will post pics of the final product. C yah!!!

Mr. Manny - should you have OEM wheels for your project I would be interested in defraying part of your project cost by buying at least two. See my notice in the Parts section of the forum.
Thank you |
I found this the other night Parles vous francais ??
