1993 300ce
 

Hello,,Iam new to this forum and have a problem that I hope someone can help me with..Bought a 93 300ce last month,with 80k,great ride ,love it...drove it about 1 thousand miles so far and every once and again the engine will not go over 1500rpm from a start-up,,runs fine but when you give her gas it seems to develope a flat spot or cut-out..If i stop and restart it goes away or clears the problem for a couple of hundred mile...AN Y THOUGHTS? THANKS!

Hard to say what may cause that but,...
 

start with the simple stuff like gas filter, plugs and wires. It could also be the coil, fuel pump among others. Also do a search on the archives and welcome to the forum.

Make sure all the ball and socket joints in your throttle linkage are clean and lubricated with ATF. Maybe something is binding.
