I am finally zeroing in on my mods

i've now completed the engine repairs and mods now i'm going to the car body.

my first question is i've decided on 18 x 7.5 wheels with a 25 offset. what tire size should i run. some of my considerations have been

235 x 40 this was on an 8.5 wide rim

could i get away with the 235 or

225 x 40 or

215 x 40

i really want all the handling i can get but i don't want to sacrifice the ride comfort.

put clear side marker/turn signals on and was able to use the existing bosch bulb mount. went right in.

got a pair of euro's coming. the next thing will be new springs and shocks. going with sport springs but still thinking about what shocks. any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks for the suggestions

If you are looking for handling, but don't want to sacrifice ride comfort, I would never go less than 50 series tires. Been there, done it ( wish I hadn't ).
Personally, I would go with something in the 225/50 range.
It's your call. ;)

If you go to a 17 or 18 you will definitely get a lot more feedback through the wheels. A 16 is the maximum if you don't want to lose any ride quality.

I have 275's on the back so you shouldn't have any problems with what you are looking at.

Matt.
