I think its time to replace my radiator. My 85 300D (202,150 miles) is beginning to run warmer than normal and I have already replaced the thermostat and cap and had the system reversed flushed. When at operating temperature, the lower hose is cool to the touch and the right hand side of the radiator is pretty cool. My question is: how hard is it to replace the radiator yourself? Should I consider a rebuilt? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

It is DIY job, just drain coolant first, remove drain plug at buttom of radiator (blue color) remove uper & lower radiator hose, trans cooler lines, remove hold down clips pull out radiator, after install new radiator fill coolant from uper radiator hose & check trans fluid. have fun !
PS I'll go for new radiator.

Be careful with the fan shroud, if you have one, I'm not sure on this model. If you do, it also has clips which hold it to the top of the radiator frame and the rad itself. You can get some nasty cuts and possibly damage the core if you're not careful.
