My 91' 190e has started making wind noise around the drivers door. The noise is not coming from the window seal but from around the door itself. I have noticed lately I am having to slam the door just to get it to shut completely. Can the door be adjusted some way? Thank you!

You may have to take this to a body shop to have the door hinges looked at. It sounds as if it is sagging.

Hi Joegolden,
Just in case, check and see if the striker plate has moved and needs repositioning or retightening. Regards, Nick |

Also check the hinges where they bolt to the door pillars. If they have moved at all, you will see this in the paint outline around the hinge. Another thing to check is wear on the hinge pins themselves. Open the door about 6 inches and lift up on the door handle. If you feel any free motion, then the hinge pin is worn.
