Brushing sound with tire rotations

A few days ago it was actually warm enough to drive with my window down. When pulling into my driveway, I noticed a light brushing sound with every tire rotation. A few weeks ago I replaced the tie-rods, front brakes and calipers. Any thoughts?

Just a guess but it's probably the new pads rubbing against the rotors, should stop once the pads are seated in a 100 miles or so.

It could have been rust on the rotors. Three weeks is not too soon to devlop rust that makes noise. Don't worry about it - it should go away.

Thanks for the quick replys guys. I replaced the rotors with the brakes. I've driven atleast 2000 miles since the work was done. Does this change anything?

When I have noticed such a noise, it usually turns out to be some debris stuck on - a small branch or plastic bag or such. You had best investigate.
