450SLC 5.0 Autocross Rally Car
 

A friend of mine purchased this coupe that was auctioned on EBay recently. The engine is a 5.0 litre, limited production, all aluminum V8. The car runs well enough, but there are a few incidentals that need to be cleaned up. The A/C clutch is shot, any ideas on a good supplier? This is his main concern right now due to the blistering heat here in Dallas in the summer. Thanks in advance.

is this the york compressor? looks kinda like a small gas engine

i picked mine up @ adsit company, its kinda hard to find the clutch alone...

If it is an oem system, it uses the GM-Fridgedare "A-6" compressor which IMHO is a great compressor (they have an internal oil pump, and are almost bullet-proof). Not sure about where you could find just the clutch assembly though.
