Tiny little sparks...

Just a couple eminating from the main coil to distributor wire. You can barely see them with the lights out. Is this enough justification to change out the wire? And could this cause one cylinder to misfire?

Thanks.

Hi,

One sure way to check is to spray a fine mist of water on the wires with engine running. Do it in a dark place. You'll see sparks if there's a problem child or children.

Wear rubber shoes:-)

Yes, one cylinder can be affected.

Regards,
