I'm looking for either flares, spacers or something that will allow big meats under a 124 wagon, ideas?

With the correct offset and tire sizing you can already add 17 X 8 or maybe even 18 X 8 wheels to your car. To go more extreme you are talking a Fender flare mod and or 500E front/rear fender grafts

Actually, I meant to second your suggestion of 500E front fenders. I guess it didn't come through that way.
