Where is the glow plug fuse (all I can figure out is somewhere around the firewall but not part of the fuse box) ?

The fuse is a strip fuse located on the front of the drivers side fender. It is in a black rectangular box (2"x5")in size. If the fuse is good you probably have 1 or more glow plugs that are bad. Hope this helps.

I'm going ahead and replacing with fast glow plugs and insulated wires.
It's probably time to replace the original ones anyway, although they've been functioning fine.
But, first, need to check the fuse to make sure all the juice is flowing through ok with no resistance. (= may need cleaning ?)

This strip fuse is subject to failing, if you are in doubt, replace it!
