1997 500S Coupe
What's up! I am knew to the site but I have done a little homework within the forum.. I have come across a 1997 500s Coupe. I have ask ths salesman about the a/c evaporator. He said that the car was a service throughly at a local MB dealer. I did put the vin number thrrough carfact. It was clean.. Oh by the way 70,000 mi. The asking price is $30,000. I did ask him to fact over the maintenance record...SILLL WAITING...

The local Mercedes Benz . . . .
dealer can make a VMI (vehicle master inguiry) via their NetStar system to find the vehicles warranty fixes/mods and all repair work done.
If the A/C was done (at a MB dealer), then it will show. If it was done at an indy, then it won't! The fact that it was or was not done does not mean anything in my opinion. It doesn't mean that it will last longer just because it was, nor does it imply that your's is going to go bad because it wasn't! There are many, many 'S' class MBs that have not had any work done on the A/C.

Kelly Blue Book says. . . .
the wholesale price is $36,175 for that mileage for EXCELLENT condition; $34,230 for GOOD.
With our current high gas prices, dealers are almost giving away the 'big' cars. Good time to buy!
