Where do these ball bearings go (190E)?
 

While searching for something I dropped I found 2 large steel ball bearings (~3/8"dia) next to the track of the passenger's seat in our '91 190E, and I don't know if they came from the mechanism - or were lost from something unrelated by the previous owner. Are these something that could be part of the seat mechanism? Far as I can tell, both seats are working normally. Thanks for any help.

I found a metal ball one time about 1/2 " in diameter, but mine was found when I took the door panel off. I had removed the window regulator and heard something drop, and thats what I found. Someone mentioned it could be from the door check. I never figured it out, and I dont notice anything wrong.

The door checks do have some, but they are much bigger in diameter - about 3/4" maybe.
