Warming Coil in Washer Fluid Resevoir 89 300e

This coil developed a pin hole and the results were quite spectacular. I called the local MB dealer Still waiting to hear re cost, availability. Said it would be a special order. Anyone have any experience with this odd little device. Do I have to replace the whole resevoir or just the coil. Looks like the coil will come out.
Comments, ideas, secret information from anyone.
